She was from Leipzig. They had 3 children, Emil Joseph Sr., William Jr., and Minette. Looking for more Hartungs/Hardings that came from Hannover to the Missouri 1883.

Family Line: Freidrich Heinrich Hartung father of Conradine Nissen born March 5th 1887 in Hadersleben ( Haderslev) Schleswig Holstein.  Her mother was Helene Nissen. Conradine Nissen married Wilhelm Plohr in June 1908 in Saskatchewan Canada.  Their marriage registration states that her place of residence prior to the marriage was in Pennsylvania, USA where she was living with relatives I believe. I have been told it is a Danish practice for daughters to be known by their mothers surname, family tradition also states that Conradine and Wilhelm met on board the ship sailing to America. Freidrich Heinrich Hartung would be my great grandfather.
